This past weekend, I was fortunate enough to attend Jennifer Hayslip's Christmas in July workshop event. It was held at her fabulous Eye Candy studio in Macon, GA. What a fabulous environment to create in. Everywhere you looked, was a feast for the eyes.
Our lovely hostess Jenn
The lovely Jennifer Grenko taught the workshop. We made adorable vintage inspired tulle Christmas trees, similar to the ones made in the 50's.
Jennifer was so graceous to assemble the base of the trees ahead of time, so we could spend time emblishing them. What fun it was! Jennifer provided the most adorable vintage spun cotton angle tree toppers and birds to share with the group.
The beautiful details that went into this event were increadable. We were showered with gifts and surprises.
The best part of the event was seeing old friends and meeting new ones. So many sweet and talented ladies ...

My sister Robin and I went to the event together. We met up with our Florida cousins, JoAnn and Jeanie. What a fun filled girls weekend we had!

As if that wasn't enough, ... we then walked over to Jenn's lovely home for a Christmas in July tea. What a beautiful home and a graceous hostess.

Here are few pictures of some of the girls with their adorable, creative trees.
Girl's weekends away are always fun, especially with sisters. We missed sister Sherry on this trip and thought of her often, hopefully she can make the next one.
Thanks again to Jennifer, Jenn and all of the fun, sweets gals for making this a fabulous trip.
